Many of our licensees have never served behind a bar, worked in a kitchen or run their own business before taking on a tenancy.
It can be a daunting experience not knowing what to expect in those first few weeks.
We understand that new tenants are not only changing careers but also moving their family into a new home and possibly a new area with all the associated pressures that these changes can bring.
There are so many things to do and so many things to think about.
Pub School provides the opportunity to work with one of our tenants who will give honest support and advice together with hands on practical experience on how to get through those important first few weeks.
Some of the issues that will be covered include staff rotas, cash sheets, deliveries, ordering, opening and closing procedures, and statutory notices - anything that you are likely to experience early on.
Pub School is only available once you have been offered a Wadworth pub.
