Introduction

The Seymour Arms is a 16th Century Ivy clad Pub, which originally started life as Farmhouse and still has some of the Farmhouse charm of low ceilings and an Inglenook fireplace. The Hamlet of East Knoyle is situated in the Picturesque Landscapes of 2 counties Wiltshire and Dorset, 9 miles from Longleat, 16 miles from Salisbury and 5 Miles from Shaftesbury. It also is in the Good Beer Guide and Right in the middle of the Village making it a real Village Pub. It has 50/50 split in trade for Wet and Dry and is also boosted by 4 letting Bedrooms with about a 60% occupancy rate. Customers are drawn in fro food and drinks from the Village as well as from Passing trade on the A350, with Brown signs on the Main road giving excellent signage on both sides of the Main road. There are Many Walking routes in and around the Village and its claim to fame is that it’s the birthplace of Famous Architect Sir Christopher Wren.
