Introduction
Ducklington is a very pretty village situated approx 1.5 miles from Whitney and 8 miles from Oxford. It is very close to the busy A40 and links to the Cotswolds and Brize Norton RAF base. This is quite a large village with a central duck pond, some traditional thatched properties and a new development of houses recently built and a number of industrial units also within the village. The Strickland Arms is very much the local pub with Aunt Sally and darts being played regularly, a strong community feel is always present in the pub and food has taken off with a clear and defined menu.
