The Wellesley is situated in the middle of the Village of Sutton Benger, 5 minutes drive from junction 17 on the M4. The pub has a pretty roadside location and is very much a central part of the community with 8 skittle teams (winter and summer), cricket teams and a rugby team! The pub was built in the late 18th century and we have owned it since 1920 and turned it into a pub. Constructed of Bath stone, the garden is a hidden gem as it can be used for growing own vegetables, herbs etc but still have enough space to have a private area as well as a good sized trade garden. At present the split is 75/25 in favour of wet sales, and has a fantastic opportunity for a good caterer to set the food going in the right direction.
